EBRD conference on the Western Balkans begins in London

SARAJEVO, February 26 (FENA) - The Third Western Balkans Investment Summit, organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), has begun in London, participated by Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić and Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Šarović.

Following the official opening of the Conference and welcoming addresses by EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti, Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov and the Minister for International Development of Great Britain Lord Bates, the session of the prime ministers of the Western Balkans began.

Mr. Zvizdić met with EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti and is also expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the BiH Council of Ministers and EBRD. The Memorandum refers to the enhancement of cooperation in supporting the initiative for strengthening investment climate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Zvizdić will also meet with Acting Secretary of State of the USA for European Affairs Matthew Palmer.

During his stay in London, the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić will attend a solemn dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Theresa May, the PR Office of the BiH Council of Ministers stated.
