LIVNO, March 5 (FENA) - Police officials from Livno were informed on Sunday that 4 men of Arab origin were detected in the area of the municipality.
They were asylum seekers from Libya, Tunisia and Algeria who arrived in Livno from the asylum camp near Sarajevo, confirmed for the Fena Ivica Vrdoljak, Spokesman of the Herzeg-Bosna Cantonal MoI.
The Livno Foreign Affairs Department made an informative interview with the asylum seekers, after which it was found that they had valid asylum cards, and were returned the same day to the asylum center in Trnovo near Sarajevo.
There is suspicion that the asylum seekers wanted to illegally cross over to the Republic of Croatia as well as that someone brought them close to the border.
The BiH Border Police officers were informed about the case, and possibility of additional cases are being checked.
