SARAJEVO, March 6 (FENA) - The agreement on holding sessions of the FBiH Government and the Houses of the FBiH Parliament was not reached at today's meeting held by the FBiH President Marinko Čavara with representatives of the parliamentary majority from the executive and legislative authorities.
It was agreed that the talks would continue in seven days at the Office of the FBiH President, and until then, the positions need to be defined and concrete solutions need to be offered on specific solutions to the current problems.
“We concluded that it was essential that the FBiH ministry for issues of veterans, in cooperation with the cantonal ministries, continues the talks, i.e. finds the best solution and delivers materials to both Houses of the Parliament,” Edin Mušić, the Chairman of the FBiH House of Representatives, told journalists after the meeting.
In addition, he confirmed that the Boards for veterans’ issues of both Houses in cooperation with veterans’ associations and other interested parties must draft one information that will be discussed at the future sessions in the FBiH Parliament.
“At this point, we only have the Draft Law on Veterans’ Associations as active and we expect in the next few days that these talks will result in the quality and best solution for all. Very soon we will determine the deadline for scheduling the next session,” Mr. Mušić said.
