BRUSSELS/SARAJEVO, March 12 (FENA) – The working parties of the European Union Council recommended an extension of the Decision concerning restrictive measures on BiH politicians who are violating the Dayton Peace Agreement and blocking the EU road, FENA learns.
Namely, the Decision, adopted on 21 March 2011, was extended on several occasions and expires on March 31 this year.
In view of the situation, the EU Permanent Representatives Committee recommended on March 2, on the Initiative of Federica Mogherini, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the extension of the Council Decision for another year, running until 31 March 2019.
Until now, the European Union has not issued any decisions on putting anyone on the list of individuals under restrictive measures.
