MOSTAR, Mar 12 (FENA) - The first wind power plant in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Mesihovina - will be put into operation on Wednesday, March 14, at 12:00 hrs on the plateau of the wind farm in Gornji Brisnik in Tomislavgrad.
Those present at the ceremony will be addressed by the General Manager of PE "Elektroprivreda HZ HB" d. d. Mostar Marinko Gilja and Chair of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Borjana Kristo, who will officially put into operation the first wind farm.
The newly constructed wind farm is a facility that will increase power generation by 165.17 GWh per year, which is 10 % of the total generation in the energy system of the company. It has 22 wind turbines with the installed power of 50.6 MW.
The project is worth KM 82 million. It is another more successful project of PE "Elektroprivreda HZ HB" d.d. Mostar, says the statement issued by the company.
