SARAJEVO, March 14 (FENA) - The Steering Board of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) at today's sixth session in Sarajevo, among other, adopted the Office's budget for 2018.
Members of the Steering Board, consisting of representatives of government institutions and youth non-governmental organizations, the six signatories to the agreement on the establishment of the Regional Youth Cooperation Office, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia adopted the Report on the work of the Regional Office for the past year and confirmed the appointment of the Advisory board of the Office.
Also, the meeting also focused on the improvement of the work of the Steering Board and the Office as a whole.
Youth cooperation plays an extremely important role, and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office is expected to contribute to the promotion of European values, strengthening of sustainable regional cooperation among young people and the establishment of new relations among young people in the Western Balkan region, said the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs.
In 2018, Bosnia and Herzegovina is the chair country of RYCO Steering Board, and during the presidency it will advocate for the promotion of regional integration and thus show commitment to the development of good neighborly relations, promotion of peace and stability, in the spirit of the European values.
