Ambassador of Slovenia visits Central Election Commission of BiH

SARAJEVO, March 15 (FENA) - Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to BiH Zorica Bukinac today visited the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

CEC BiH President Irena Hadžiabdić and a member of the commission Suad Arnautović briefed Ambassador Bukinac about the activities of this institution on making sure that everything is ready for the announcement and holding of the forthcoming general elections in BiH.

They also discussed the challenges and obstacles that the CEC is facing in connection to these activities.

Ambassador Bukinac particularly inquired about the events regarding the amendments to the Election Law of BiH and stressed that the interest of the Republic of Slovenia is for Bosnia and Herzegovina to be a stable, functional and successful state.
