MOSTAR, March 19 (FENA) - The general strike of the doctors in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNC), which started on Monday morning, is frozen until further notice, told for the Fena the President of the Trade Union of the Doctors, Kristina Bevanda.
According to her words, the Trade Union of the Doctors made such a decision after the HNC Government announced today the beginning of negotiations with doctors for April 4.
"That was a sufficient reason for us to put the strike on ice until further notice," Ms Bevanda said.
She added that doctors would start their regular work tomorrow.
To remind, the Trade Union of doctors demands from the HNC Government a separate collective agreement for doctors of medicine and dentistry, as it has been done in other cantons, as well as for the hourly rate to be increased from the current KM 2 to KM 2.6, increase of the coefficient by 1.2 for all medical groups - for doctors of medicine, specialists and subspecialists.
