BiHCoM approves 36 million euros for construction of motorway on Corridor 5C

SARAJEVO, March 20 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted a proposal for a loan agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development for the Nemila-Donja Gračanica Motorway Project, which provides about 36 million euros for continuing the construction of the motorway on Corridor 5C from the Zenica beltway to the north.

About five million euros of domestic funds are intended for land expropriation and the design of this subsection on the Nemila-Vranduk line, 5.25 km long.

The loan repayment period is 20 years, including five years’ grace period, with allocation to the Federation of BiH.

The proposal for a loan agreement with the Basis for its conclusion will be submitted to the BiH Presidency, and the BiH Minister of Finances and Treasury was proposed as the BiH signatory, the BiH Council of Ministers stated.
