Incomplete remains of one victim found in the course of exhumation in Foča

SARAJEVO, March 27 (FENA) - An exhumation procedure at the locality of Dragojevića buk, in the area of Foča, which began last week, continued today and so far, the on-site team has found incomplete mortal remains of one victim.

According to the information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, it is assumed that the location contains a mass grave with the remains of Bosniak victims who were killed in 1992 in this area.

The Institute spokesperson Lejla Čengić told FENA today that the search is being done with the help of machinery and manually, at a depth of 10 to 15 meters.

Čengić noted that this site now is a landfill that was created during and after the war.

The exhumation which will be resumed in the forthcoming period, on the order of the BiH Court, is handled by the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
