Meeting within strengthening regional cooperation in processing war crimes

SARAJEVO, April 3 (FENA) - Acting Chief Prosecutor of BiH Gordana Tadić and officials of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH Stanko Blagić and Izet Odobašić met with Deputy Chief Special Prosecutor of Montenegro Lidija Vukčević and representatives of UNDP project in BiH.

They talked about cooperation between prosecutor offices of the two countries in identifying and processing war crimes cases and activities in segment of search and identification of missing persons.

Meeting was held as a continuation of activities within project "Strengthening Regional Cooperation in Processing War Crimes and Search for Missing Persons", which is implemented under patronage of UNDP.

Over the past few years, prosecutor offices of BiH and Montenegro have exchanged requests for mutual assistance for cases processed in BiH and Montenegro, and the UNDP project is directed towards continuation of successful regional cooperation, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH stated.
