Honorary unit submits report to Čović and Pendeš in Orašje

FENA Press release

ORAŠJE, April 5 (FENA) - In Orašje, on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) and the 13th anniversary of the existence of the 1st Infantry Guard Regiment of the BiH Armed Forces, a ceremonial program was organized at which an honorary unit submitted a report to the BiH Presidency Member Dragan Čović and Defense Minister Marina Pendeš.

The program was organized in the "Sons of Posavina" barracks, and Mr. Čović pointed out in his address that the members of the HVO had given an immense contribution to BiH being an organized and internationally recognized state, stressing that they should proudly remember the times when they stood by each other with honor and jointly defended BiH.

He reiterated that BiH was the homeland of the Croat people who did not give up on it in the war, and will not do so in peace, adding that he intentionally stresses BiH as the homeland, because the concept of the BiH Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces respects what is called the spirit of BiH and it is the only thing that illustrates the BiH Constitution, the BiH Presidency stated.
