SARAJEVO, April 12 (FENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak took part today in the "Creative Forum Ljubljana" organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the Union for the Mediterranean, held in Ljubljana on April 11 and 12.
Mr. Crnadak was one of the participants of a high-level panel dedicated to regional cooperation, hosted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Karl Erjavec and Acting Secretary General of the Union for Mediterranean Jorge Borrego.
European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, Tibor Navracsics, and other high representatives of the EU, international institutions and countries of the region also took part.
Minister Crnadak emphasized in his speech that new and innovative ideas were needed to address the problems of today and that it is, therefore, necessary that young people and their employment are put in the forefront.
He added that the faster flow of information, the exchange of good practices, cooperation, new ideas and new creative sustainable solutions were the needs of today, to which the new generations could contribute the most.
Mr. Crnadak emphasized that intercultural dialogue in the Western Balkans and the Mediterranean region had to be strengthened and tolerance improved. This would create a space for a positive environment, enabling economic growth in the Mediterranean and creating more employment opportunities, especially for young people, the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
