Association of Women Victims of War worried about peace and freedom in BiH

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 12 (FENA) – The Association of Women Victims of War urged the Peace Implementation Council in BiH (members of the PIC Steering Board) to, as they said, “finally react and use their influence on officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina to prevent that the biggest criminals of today, the fighters returning from the Ukrainian-Russian battlefield, roam around this wounded country.”

“The Association of Women Victims of War gathers women and men who were raped and sexually abused in period 1992-1995 and expresses deep concern for peace and freedom in BiH, especially after the lineup in Višegrad of the terrorist chetnik paramilitaries, the Ravna Gora Movement from Serbia, RS and Russia. The part of the population that has returned to their property after the war is living in fear and considering abandoning their property, whereas many, due to threats, do not even dare visit and farm their lands,” reads, among other things, the letter of the Association of Women Victims of War delivered to several more addresses, to domestic and international institutions.
