SARAJEVO, April 17 (FENA) - The BiH Defense Minister Marina Pendeš received today in an inaugural visit the EUFOR Commander, Major General Martin Dorfer, with whom she discussed the current and future cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH with EUFOR and the "Althea" mission.
Minister Pendeš welcomed the newly-appointed EUFOR Commander General Dorfer, and expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by EUFOR through the "Althea" mission to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH through various joint projects that have had effect not only in the field of cooperation with MoD BiH but beyond.
Major General Dorfer thanked Minister Pendeš for the reception and expressed satisfaction with good cooperation realized so far and emphasized that the EUFOR will continue to assist the reform processes in BiH and the BiH Armed Forces in training and achieving even better results, stated the BiH Ministry of Defense.
