SARAJEVO, April 24 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands Reinout Vos today.
During the meeting they considered perspectives and challenges for activation of the Membership Action Plan to NATO for BiH, in the light of the upcoming meeting of NATO foreign ministers, which will be held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
Minister of Defense of BiH used the opportunity to inform Ambassador Vos on the overall progress in reform of the defense system, as well as the status of registration of military property, which is also a condition for activation of MAP.
In that sense, Minister Pendeš said she expects the progress and firm commitment of Ministry of Defense and other competent institutions of BiH to fulfill the commitments will be taken as a credible effort and valid result, which will be recognized and adequately valorized by members of the Alliance, BiH MoD stated.
