SARAJEVO, April 25 (FENA) - Reception was hosted at the City Hall in Sarajevo last night on the occasion of the leading business-investment conference in the region of Southeastern Europe "Sarajevo Business Forum", which begins at the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH today.
Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka and Director of BBI Bank Amer Bukvić addressed at the reception.
"I would like to welcome those who are participating in the SBF for the first time, and to all those who have been coming for years I wish they continue developing their businesses in Sarajevo and improving the quality of their investments," said Skaka.
Over the next two days focus of the SBF program panels will be on economic connectivity of the region and cooperation with the EU countries.
"This year we have record number of participants, around 1.800, 225 projects, 360 journalists," emphasized Bukvić.
Mayor Skaka and Bukvić presented Plaquette of the City of Sarajevo – SBF 2018 to numerus officials at last-night's reception to thank them for contributing to the ninth Sarajevo Business Forum with their knowledge and experience.
First day is focusing on analysis of how six countries of the Western Balkans can prosper in relations with the EU "Western Balkans Six Regional Economic Area - Thriving with the EU”.
The second day focus will be on impact that economies of the European countries have on the region, strengthening of regional industry by creating stronger chains of supply and the advantages the EU neighbor countries can enjoy.
