KALESIJA, May 8 (FENA) - A collective burial of eight identified Bosniak civilian victims from the last war took place today in the cemetery in the settlement of Hemlijaši near Kalesija who finally, after 26 years, found their peace.
After the killings, the victims were burned in a barn. Only after the DNA analysis of the mortal remains it was possible to identify the victims.
“They were firstly buried in a mass grave, which has been recently uncovered and DNA analysis was conducted,” said Elvir effendi Malić from the Kalesija Majlis and added that white tombstones will be erected for them as a testimony of the armed aggression and ethnic cleansing of Bosniak civilians in that region.
