Islamic Community in BiH allocates 100,000 KM of emergency aid for refugees

SARAJEVO, May 14 (FENA) - The Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in BiH Husein ef. Kavazović held a meeting today with representatives of non-governmental organizations that provide aid to refugees, migrants and victims of human trafficking in BiH.

The meeting discussed the refugee crisis and the ways in which non-governmental organizations can, in accordance with the law, help these categories of people.

“Raisu-l-ulama has offered emergency aid of the Islamic Community in BiH in the amount of 100,000 KM for taking care of the refugees. The amount allocated for food is 50,000 KM, and for medicines and medical supplies 50,000 KM. The delivery of aid in Krajina and Sarajevo Canton will be realized through the Red Cross, Merhamet and the Medical Association BIMA,” MINA reported.
