TUZLA, May 24 (FENA) - The Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Tuzla Cantonal Chamber of Commerce (TCCC), organized today a meeting of Austrian businessmen with businessmen from the Tuzla Canton area.
Representatives of six Austrian companies in the field of military, metal and machine industries and logistics met with representatives of domestic companies from the mentioned areas in order to find suppliers and joint investments in Tuzla Canton (TC).
TCCC President Nedret Kikanović expressed satisfaction with the response of BiH companies, stressing that 16 of them today participate in this meeting, that is, those that are interested in cooperation with Austria.
His opinion is that it is very important that Austrian companies are looking for suppliers from this area, stressing that the Austrian economy is the largest investor in the area of TC.
He added that some of the developed BiH companies that had participated today in these meetings were TMD and Livnica from Gradačac, TTU Energetik and Deling from Tuzla, Unis Stream from Kalesija, etc.
“The representatives of important metal processing companies are here and have the opportunity to find a market for their products with Austrian partners,” Mr. Kikanović said.
A representative of the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy to BiH and Advantage Austria Elvir Delić points out that Advantage Austria is a representative of all Austrian companies in BiH.
In his words, out of the six Austrian companies present at these meetings, four are looking for suppliers from BiH, in the field of the metal processing industry.
He says that such events are organized regularly with the aim of establishing contacts and establishing cooperation between Austrian and BiH companies.
