SARAJEVO, May 27 (FENA) - A grand Hungarian feast was held this Saturday as part of the event "Days of National Minorities in the Sarajevo Canton".

A Hungarian folk ensemble from Osijek, a Tamburitza Orchestra band from Čantavir (Vojvodina), on Saturday gave a great Hungarian feast to the citizens of Sarajevo and numerous tourists.

Wearing beautiful Hungarian traditional garments, girls and boys sang and danced at Baščaršija and then arrived at the Cathedral Square.

President of the Association of Hungarians - the Sarajevo Club, Irma Muratović reminded that an exhibition also opened this Friday at 'Novi Hram' gallery in Sarajevo.

"A grand Hungarian feast is a way to present to our city that Hungarians live here in equality with all the other citizens of our city," said Muratović.

A conference of all associations of Hungarians from the territory of the former Yugoslavia was also held in Sarajevo on this occasion.

At the conference, attended by a high delegation from the Republic of Hungary, the results of the work of the associations were presented with the exchange of experiences.
