SARAJEVO, May 29 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović received in a farewell visit Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to BiH, Juana Bosco Giménez Soriana, who stressed that Spain would continue to support BiH on its path to EU and NATO membership.
The two officials at the beginning of the meeting stressed that the relations between the two countries are traditionally good and friendly.
Čović informed Soriano about the ongoing social and political situation in BiH and said that the country, despite all the difficulties, remains firmly committed to its EU-NATO path.
Spanish Ambassador thanked the BiH Presidency member Čović for the support that BiH provided to the Government of Spain and noted the noticeable effort that Čović has invested during the two terms in the Presidency in order for BiH to obtain a candidate status and to activate the Membership Action Plan for BiH with NATO (MAP), stated the Presidency of BiH.
