SARAJEVO, June 1 (FENA) – The Social Democratic Party of BiH and the Bosniak Movement signed today an agreement on supporting Denis Bećirović as a candidate for the BiH Presidency.
„This is an identical agreement signed by the A-SDA party. It is my pleasure to give support to Bećirović because of his persistent action over the past years and the fact that he is the most credible representative of the Bosniak people at this year's elections,“ the Bosniak Movement president Sejfudin Tokić said.
„These alliances are key to our struggle for a sovereign and independent Bosnia and Herzegovina. My goal is to unite BiH and make Bosniaks a stable factor in the state," Mr. Bećirović said.
His candidacy for a Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, as announced, will be supported by a large number of parties in the coming days, whose names cannot be revealed before the signing of the official agreements.
In addition to the political parties from BiH, Mr. Bećirović has so far been supported by intellectuals from Croatia.
