SARAJEVO, June 3 (FENA) - Vice President of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and candidate for Bosniak member of BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović called Milorad Dodik to stop creating fear in citizens of BiH and attacking sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state while running to become a member of its presidency.
Džaferović said that BiH existed as a sovereign and internationally recognized state even before the Dayton Agreement.
He added that BiH continued its existence as a state with the Dayton Agreement, and only its internal structure was modified.
Džaferović noted that according to the Dayton Agreement BiH is not “made” of two entities but it is a sovereign state whose internal structure consists of two entities.
“Entity of RS will never be anywhere else but within BiH, nor will it ever be part of anything else except the sovereign state of BiH. Entity of RS will exist only while it respects state of BiH, its sovereignty, territorial integrity, Constitution and Dayton Agreement,” said Džaferović.
He added that respecting BiH Constitution means respecting all laws that have been adopted.
“I reject any possibility of transfer of jurisdictions from the state to entities,” said Džaferović.
He emphasized that if he is elected member of the BiH Presidency, he will not allow any actions that go against the Constitution of BiH and Dayton Agreement, SDA stated.
