SARAJEVO, June 7 (FENA) - After the expiration of the deadline for elimination of shortcomings in applications and final verifications, the Central Election Commission of BiH today finalized the verification of applications by political parties and independent candidates for participation in the General Elections in BiH in October 2018.
According to the CEC BiH, of the 72 submitted applications, after the checks carried out and after the expiration of the deadline for elimination of shortcomings, the CEC verified the participation of 67 political parties in the elections scheduled for October 7.
Of the 39 submitted applications, after the checks carried out and after the expiration of the deadline for elimination of shortcomings, 34 independent candidates have been verified to take part in the General Elections in 2018, the CEC BiH announced.
