SARAJEVO, June 18 (FENA) - BiH photojournalist Dado Ruvić, who works for the world's largest multimedia and news agency Reuters, will open his exhibition of photographs "Remembering Srebrenica" on Tuesday in the European Parliament in Brussels.
“The office of Swedish MP in the European Parliament, Jasenko Selimović, contacted me and suggested the holding of this exhibition. I agreed with the condition that everything will be non-profit, but also that the photos exhibited be in the largest possible format,” Ruvić told FENA.
This exhibition, as Ruvić said, has already been visited by about 300,000 people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Turkey, and now what follows is its staging in Belgium and Australia, and next year, as Ruvić announced, it should be set up in Paris.
The photos to be exhibited, more than 30 of them, originate from the period from 2009 to 2017.
Ruvić said that in the past eight years he spent a couple of months a year in the Srebrenica region and has worked a lot on his photo stories.
He announced that the Vice-President of the European Parliament, Livia Jarokka, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdić, and MPs in the European Parliament, Jasenko Selimović and Jozo Radoš, will speak at the opening of the exhibition as founders of the group "Friends of BiH in the EP".
