SARAJEVO, July 3 (FENA) - Minister of Justice of BiH Josip Grubeša stated he informed the Council of Ministers of BiH at today's session about activities of the Project Implementation Unit regarding the state prison.

"We concluded today to urge the Steering Board to find a model to complete the technical acceptance as soon as possible," said Minister Grubeša, adding that the Unit should agree the price.

Stressing it is a very important project, he said it is unacceptable there is an eight-month delay due to technical acceptance.

"We are sending a bad message to the citizens of BiH and partners from the EU," emphasized Minister Grubeša.

He also mentioned the second problem, which is that we are losing around 530 000 KM, because technical acceptance has not been finished.

"That amount will increase to 900 000 per month as of October if the prison is not open until then," said Minister Grubeša.

He added that technical acceptance is not the only condition to open the prison. After the technical acceptance there are additional activities that need to be accelerated to place the prison in function as soon as possible.
