SARAJEVO, July 9 (FENA) - On 2 July 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment charging the accused Božo Mihajlović with the continued criminal offense of Lack of Commitment in Office under Article 224(2), as read with Paragraph 1, all in conjunction with Article 54 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The Indictment alleges that between 15 November 2006 and 1 February 2015, as a prosecutor at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and since 10 March 2010 also as the Head of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption at the BiH Prosecutor's Office (SDOC), he apparently demonstrated lack of commitment in office by failing to perform his official duty as the SDOC head and prosecutor, specifically the duty of exercising supervision over the work and performance of Sadina Beridan-Zuhrić, who worked as a typist since 15 November 2006, as a senior typist since 17 July 2008, and as specialist typist since 20 May 2011 at the BiH Prosecutor's Office, assigned to work with prosecutor Božo Mihajlović, and who misappropriated the temporarily seized money from nine cases, wherein Božo Mihajlović’s failure to exercise proper supervision over her actions allowed her to keep the misappropriated money and conceal her unlawful actions, which caused the pecuniary damage in the amount exceeding 10,000.00 KM.
