Srebrenica asking FIFA to begin tomorrow's match with a minute of silence

SARAJEVO, July 10 (FENA) - President of the Organizing Committee for marking 23rd anniversary of genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica and Deputy Municipal Mayor of Srebrenica Nermin Alivuković sent a letter to the International Football Association FIFA, asking to start tomorrow's World Cup semi-finals match with a minute of silence.

"We are asking you to begin tomorrow's match with a minute of silence in memory of genocide in Srebrenica and send a message of peace and warning so that Srebrenica does not happen again," the letter says.
