Čović meets with Serbian President Vučić in Belgrade

BELGRADE/SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović spoke today in Belgrade with President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić about further improvement of relations between the two countries, overall relations between Croats and Serbs, and the situation in the region.

Čović informed Vučić about the importance of preserving stability in the region, with special emphasis on the period after the general elections in BiH in October this year.

He also informed his host about the initiative of the BiH Presidency for the soon-to-be organized roundtable on Sustainable Development Goals with presidents of neighboring countries, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, who are also signatories to Agenda 2030, which will serve as an additional boost to regional linking and cooperation.

They also spoke about joint infrastructure projects as well as the positive results of this year's International Business Fair in Mostar, where Serbia was a country partner.

Vučić once again highlighted the support of the Republic of Serbia to the improvement of relations, territorial integrity of BiH, and especially the cooperation among all the peoples, said the BiH Presidency.
