Women-War Victims: Radeta's comments prove that the dark side of Serbia lives on

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, July 24 (FENA) - Members of the association 'Women-Victims of War' are horrified by the disgusting comments of a deputy in Vojislav Šešelj’s Serb Radical Party in the Serbian Parliament, Vjerica Radeta on the news of the death of Srebrenica mother and a heroine, Hatidža Mehmedović.

“We have heard and witnessed numerous insults, brutality, experienced and survived everything you can imagine and we fought against it all.

But this time we ask the competent institutions in BiH to react, to send a strong diplomatic note of condemnation to the Serbian Parliament and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, because the comment was not made by an "ordinary citizen of Serbia", but a deputy in the state parliament, Vjerica Radeta, who has unfortunately shown everyone that the dark side of Serbia from the time of Slobodan Milošević is still very much alive,” said the association ‘Women-Victim of War’.

Reacting to the news of the death of the President of the 'Mothers of Srebrenica' association, Hatidža Mehmedović Radeta commented on her Twitter profile saying that “Hatidža Mehmedović from the association of the businesswomen of Srebrenica has just died.” Radeta also wrote, "Who will bury her, the husband or her sons?"
