BiH Court -Guilty plea agreement in Mićo Stojanović case for organized crime

SARAJEVO, July 27 (FENA) - Having held a hearing to decide on the guilty plea agreement and a sentencing hearing, on 27 July 2018, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered a judgment finding the accused Mićo Stojanović guilty of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250(2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH), as read with the criminal offense of Unauthorized Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195(1) of the CC BiH.

The Court imposed on him a sentence of 1 (one) year of imprisonment. The ill-gotten gain in the amount of 1,500.00 KM (fifteen hundred convertible marks) shall be confiscated from the accused, which he shall pay towards the Budget of BiH within 6 months of the date when the judgment becomes final.

Pursuant to Article 195(4) of the CC BiH, the security measure of seizure of objects has been imposed on the accused Mićo Stojanović.

Pursuant to Article 188(1) of the BiH Criminal Procedure Code, the accused Mićo Stojanović shall reimburse the costs of the criminal proceeding.

The Mićo Stojanović case has been severed from the case of Goran Stanković et al., stated the BiH Court.
