SARAJEVO, August 29 (FENA) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić said today in Sarajevo Council, at today's session, adopted the Framework Energy Strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period up to 2035.
At the press conference after the session, Zvizdić pointed out that the Council of Ministers thus rounded up the adoption of the package of the four most important strategies for economic and infrastructural development of Bosnia and Herzegovina - transport, energy, agriculture, rural development strategy, and environmental strategy.
He added that the adoption of the energy strategy will create preconditions for withdrawing EU funds for the energy sector in BiH, as well as for attracting other investments that sector.
Zvizdić said that the latest data on migrants show that around 12,000 of them have entered BiH since the beginning of the year. More than 10,000 have expressed intention to seek asylum, while 835 migrants actually applied for asylum.
Zvizdić added that around 300 additional police officers are currently engaged on strengthening of the border control.
Also, Zvizdić stressed that the Council of Ministers of BiH has established a proposal for a loan agreement between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development worth EUR 180 million for the Corridor 5-C project - the sections of the motorway between Paprikuša and Nemila, 5 kilometers long, the Ivan tunnel, and the section from Mostar Jug intersection to Kvanj tunnel.
