Additional 3.5 million KM for the border crossing at Bratunac - Ljubovija Bridge

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - The Steering Board of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA BiH) today, at the continuation of the 30th session, agreed to approve additional 3.5 million KM from the budget of the institutions of BiH for the construction of the border crossing between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia at the location of the new bridge that connects Bratunac and Ljubovija.

After the ITA Steering Board gave its consent to approve another 3.5 million KM, with the already earmarked 11 million KM, the conditions have been created to confirm this decision in the Council of Ministers of BiH, after which it will be possible for the ITA to initiate procedures for announcing a tender for the construction of this international border crossing with inspection facilities.

At today's session, there was no consent to make decisions on interim settlement between the entities for the previous years, nor the decision on determining temporary coefficients for the allocation of funds from the single account for the period July-September 2018, therefore these items will be on the agenda at the next session, stated the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH.
