SARAJEVO, August 30 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić met today in Sarajevo with a delegation of the European Parliament, a group of the European People's Party (EPP).
Zvizdić informed the euro parliamentarians about the ongoing political and economic situation in BiH.
He emphasized the commitment of the BiH Council of Ministers to the Euro-Atlantic integration, as the primary foreign policy goal of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He added that obtaining a candidate status would be a major impetus for the continuation of the EU integration process in BiH, and it would help further political stabilization, peacebuilding and economic development.
The leader of the EPP delegation, vice-president of the EPP group in charge of enlargement and Mediterranean politics, the European Parliament's envoy from the Republic of Bulgaria Andrey Kovatchev said that the EPP Group in the European Parliament provides full support to the EU and NATO aspirations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He congratulated Zvizdić on the achieved progress in the integration processes and implemented reforms, and encouraged the authorities in BiH to continue with the necessary reform processes in order to speed up the EU path of the country, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
