Three million KM for irrigation projects in Bihać and Sanski Most

BIHAĆ/SARAJEVO, September 13 (FENA) - The FBiH Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry Šemsudin Dedić, Bihać Mayor Šuhret Fazlić and Mayor of Sanski Most Faris Hasanbegović signed today in Bihać, at the 16th international fair EKOBIS, two agreements for design and supervision over the works on the irrigation systems in Bihać and Sanski Most.

The project is implemented by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the financial support of the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank.

The implementation of the Irrigation Development Project in the Bihać and Sanski Most areas, a primary and secondary network for irrigation and drainage will be developed in the area of Klokot - Papari and Bakšais in Bihać, and in the local communities of Šehovci and Trnava in Sanski Most.

The value of this project in these two municipalities amounts to almost three million KM, stated the FBiH Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry.
