SARAJEVO, October 12 (FENA) - Raisu-l-ulama of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein effendi Kavazović met today with the Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks of North America, Sabahudin effendi Ćeman.
The Mufti informed Rais Kavazović about the activities of the Islamic Community in North America and plans for the future.
As a particularly important activity, he singled out the purchase of a building that will serve as the headquarters of the Mufti in Washington.
Mufti Ćeman emphasized that this representative office and the multipurpose facilities would be an important step in the positioning of the Bosniak community in American society, as well as strengthening the relations between the Islamic Community in BiH and the United States, MINA reported.
