BiH Court - Judgment confirmed in the case against Đorđe Simić for war crime

SARAJEVO, October 25 (FENA) - The Appellate Division Panel of Section I for War Crimes at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the criminal proceeding against the accused Đorđe Simić, having held a Panel session, delivered a judgment dismissing the appeal filed by the BiH Prosecutor's Office as ill-founded, while upholding the trial judgment delivered by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. S1 1 K 024042 17 Kri of 10 April 2018.

The trial judgment delivered by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina No. S1 1 K 024042 17 Kri of 10 April 2018 acquitted the accused Đorđe Simić of the charges that by the actions described in the operative part of the judgment he committed the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172(1)i) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CC BiH) as read with Article 180(1) of the CC BiH, stated the BiH Court.
