SARAJEVO, November 5 (FENA) - At the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina today supported the Decision on granting state guarantees under the Loan Agreement (Corridor 5C in RS - Part I) between the public enterprise the RS Motorways and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, worth 70 million euros.
The funds are intended for the construction of the main section of the motorway on the Corridor 5C, from the intersection "Johovac" (Tovira) to the intersection "Rudanka" (Kostajnica).
The construction of the planned motorway section Banja Luka - Doboj allows the connecting of the European route E 661 (Gradiška - Banja Luka - Mrkonjić Grad - Livno - Split) and the Corridor 5C (Šamac - Doboj - Zenica - Sarajevo - Mostar - Ploče).
All outstanding and unpaid amounts under this loan for which BiH makes the payment from the Guarantee Fund, Bosnia and Herzegovina will collect from the entity of Republika Srpska in accordance with the Subsidiary Guarantee Agreement concluded in July this year, stated the Council of Ministers of BiH.
