SARAJEVO, November 7 (FENA) - Exhibition of the Archives of the Federation of BiH "100 Years since the Great War" opened at Brusa Bezistan in Sarajevo today.

Author of the exhibition Adamir Jerković, Director of Archives of the Federation of BiH, said that this retrospective was called "The Great War" because nearly ten million of people lost their lives, around 20 million were injured, ten million died of starvation and disease and there was enormous material damage.

There were 36 states in the war and costs of eleven main states at war was 200 billion dollars, which is ten times more than costs for all wars from 1793 to 1907 together.

"With this exhibition we want to call to restraint and common sense, and say that solutions cannot be reached by force. And that is why we from Sarajevo want to tell everyone that people of BiH, at least most of them, do not want new wars but we want to build a better world, together in the European community of free people," said Jerković.
