LGBTIQ EE Index Awards go to British Council, DM, Represent Communications, CIN

SARAJEVO, November 22 (FENA) - The British Council, DM-Drogerie Markt, Represent Communications and the Center for Investigative Reporting CIN) received the LGBTIQ Index Award at a ceremony last night as a recognition for having established the best practices in the fight against discrimination and because they have shown the highest level of inclusion in their work.

The awards ceremony was attended by representatives of domestic and foreign organizations and private companies, as well as representatives of the international community.

The event was organized by the Headhunter Group and supported by UN Women Office in BiH.

The LGBTIQ Employment Equity Index is a project of the Headhunter Group that provides a range of human resources services.

The aim of the Employment Equity Index is to raise awareness of the problems of discrimination of members of the LGBTIQ population and other minorities in the workplace and in employment, as well as increasing equality, diversity and other positive practices in relation to employees, the organizers said.
