Police - Gatherings of 'Justice for David' not allowed due to criminal offences

BANJA LUKA, December 31 (FENA) – Due to frequent violation of public order and peace, criminal offences, prevention of normal transport flow and breaking of the Law on Public Gathering of RS, all future public gatherings of “Justice for David” group will be prevented and interrupted in accordance with the Law on Public Gathering of RS and participants of such gathering will be sanctioned in accordance with the law, Police Administration of Banja Luka warned.

It is stated that police officers of Banja Luka Police Administration arrested several persons last night due to violation of commitments regulated by the Law on Public Gathering of RS.

Police added that organizer of this public gathering, as in previous cases, did not follow legal commitments and headed to a protest walk through the city together with other participants, during which several violations were committed.

Participants of the public gathering also interrupted previously scheduled concert of Haris Džinović at the parking lot "Kraša“, by damaging the stage and equipment.

Due to these events, competent city services cancelled announced New Year’s cultural-entertainment program.
