SARAJEVO, January 15 (FENA) - The Croat People’s Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina (HNV BiH) condemned the actions of the representatives of the Croats in BiH, led by the President of the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ) BiH Dragan Čović, on the occasion of participating at the marking of the unconstitutional "Day of Republika Srpska" in Banja Luka, whose army during the war in BiH committed genocide and crimes against Croats, Bosniaks and other peoples in BiH, stated the HNV BiH.
“Participation of HDZ BiH representatives at the marking and posthumous awarding of a medal to war criminal, VRS Army General, Lisica, who had been convicted in Croatia for war crimes committed in Šibenik (Croatia), is a shameful act and additionally brings fear and deteriorates the situation for the remaining Croats and non-Serbs in RS.
This is a continuation of the project of the break-up of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” it is said in a statement of HNV BiH.
They also praised the intellectuals, both former and current officials from BiH and the Republic of Croatia on their prompt and appropriate reactions to the event, said the HNV BiH Managing Board.
