SARAJEVO, January 24 (FENA) - Under the 2015 readmission agreement, 4,524 BiH citizens returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In order to establish a more efficient system of their acceptance, 30 sets of computer equipment were handed over today for the establishment of this system.

Persons returning to BiH under the readmission agreements are those persons to whom the countries of the European Union have denied admission for any reason, such as the fact that their work permit has expired or because of violations of the rules of some of the EU countries.

The value of the equipment is about 50,000 KM, and it was handed over to the municipalities of Prijedor, Bijeljina, Zvornik, Doboj, Modriča, Zavidovići, Zenica, Živinice, Mostar and Bugojno, to the social work centers in these municipalities and cantonal ministries that have appointed coordinators for readmission.

The donation was presented today by Minister of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, Semiha Borovac, as part of the project "Integrated Support Program for Reintegration of Returnees under the Readmission Agreement" supported by the Government of Switzerland, and implemented by the Ministry and the Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

A representative of CRS for Bosnia and Herzegovina Debbie Shomberg explained that today's donation in the form of computer equipment is only a small part of what plans to be implemented within this project that is financially supported by the Government of Switzerland.
