SARAJEVO, January 30 (FENA) - The Democratic Action Party is of the opinion that the yesterday's statement of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council, after the extraordinary session, has shown some progress in understanding the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but the PIC once again did not have the strength to tell the entire truth and to take concrete measures, which they are mandated to do.
Such behavior of PIC, which has lasted for decade now, highlighted the SDA, in which responsibility is falsely distributed under the completely unfair matrix of the 'three sides' , has in fact enabled the preservation of systematic discrimination of Bosniaks and Croats in the BiH entity of RS.
It is utterly inadmissible to have this state of apartheid that has been established by the authorities of RS, and the discriminatory relationship towards members of other constituent peoples.
It is also inadmissible and irresponsible that the international community persistently tolerates the existence of a system that is based on the violation of the Constitution and the idea of ethnic superiority, so that the majority Serb population is secured a privileged status, and all others are denied basic rights and exposed to discrimination and humiliation.
The passivity and indecisiveness of the OHR and the PIC unfortunately open up room for a new impetus for separatist and anti-Dayton activities that can lead Bosnia and Herzegovina and the whole region to a state of crisis and uncertainty, stated the SDA.
Finally, the OHR and the PIC must become more active and timely fulfill their mandate, prevent discrimination and stop the continued attacks on Bosnia and Herzegovina and all the more obvious threats to peace.
