SARAJEVO, January 30 (FENA) - Chair of the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Parliament Lidija Bradara believes that the FBiH budget draft should be confirmed by the new convocation of the House, after the document has been passed by the new convocation of the House of Representatives.
To this end, she appealed that the cantonal assemblies, which so far have not yet done so, elect the delegates to the House of Peoples in order to convene a constitutive session, hopefully until February 5.
"If there is good will, this process can be completed within 24 hours," says Bradara.
Any other way, she added, would be contrary to democratic processes of power formation that we all like to evoke so eagerly.
“The Pension and Disablity Insurance Law guarantees them the payment of pensions by the fifth of the current month, pension funds are provided and pensioners have no reason to worry.
I believe that we have enough time to adopt either the Interim Financing Act or the Law on the Budget to ensure continuity of payment of all other disbursements, disability benefits, and so on. This is an ideal moment for all who are involved in the decision-making process to show our responsibility and, in line with the election results, complete the process of constituting a new convocation of the House of Peoples and give the delegates the opportunity to take over the mandates and thus the responsibility for legislative processes in the Federation of BiH, which is our obligation according to the Constitution and the Election Law," underlined Bradara.
