SARAJEVO, January 30 (FENA) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Directorate for Economic Planning, adopted at today's session the Economic Reforms Program (ERP) for the period 2019-2021, consisting of five thematic units including structural reform priorities, macroeconomic and fiscal framework.
The reforms will be aimed at improving the strategic and legislative framework in accordance with the Energy Community Stabilization Treaty, creation of a sustainable rail infrastructure financing system, promotion of agricultural production, and strengthening of the BiH quality infrastructure system according to the EU model.
The plan is to work on further improvement of the communication and information society sector, aligning the regulatory framework with the EU standards, intensifying cooperation in education and increasing labor market efficiency, establishing an efficient healthcare system and improving the social protection system.
The Economic Reforms Program will be forwarded to the European Commission, stated the BiH Council of Ministers.
