TRAVNIK, February 5 (FENA) - The Assembly of the Central Bosnia Canton (CBC) today elected five delegates for the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, thus ending the constituting session.
Zdenka Džambas (HDZ BiH), Lija Nakić (HDZ BiH) and Marko Saraf (HDZ BiH) have been elected from the Croat people, from the Bosniak caucus, Elvedin Mušanović (SDA), and Ljubinka Atanasijević from the Serb caucus (SDP BiH), while no delegates were elected forom the ranks of other nations.
The Assembly Speaker Josip Kvasina told reporters that today's session completed the procedure for the election of the delegates to the FBiH Parliament’s House of Peoples.
At the beginning of today's session, Kvasina said that Tahir Lendo (SDA) was confirmed as the PM designate for the composition of the new Government of the CBC, who will also submit to the Assembly the names of future cantonal ministers.
Asked when the government would be formed, Tahir Lendo told reporters that he hoped the process would be completed within the next 15 days.
