SARAJEVO, February 20 (FENA) – Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik received credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to BiH Ghislain D‘Hoop and they emphasized that the two countries record 25 years of diplomatic cooperation without open issues.
They agreed they should work on enhancing economic and cultural cooperation and at the same time they emphasized importance of exchange of visits on all levels towards further enhancement of cooperation between the two countries.
They stressed the need to continue implementation of reforms and commitments ahead of BiH towards getting a candidate status for membership in the EU and BiH is in the process of finalizing answers to additional questions of the European Commission within preparation of Opinion on BiH's request for membership in the EU.
Ambassador of Belgium confirmed further support to BiH on its integration and reform path and said he would devote his mission to further strengthening of good bilateral relations between the two countries.
Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik thanked Ambassador of Belgium for ongoing support to BiH, especially to BiH's EU path, Presidency of BiH stated.
