SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and members of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić and Šefik Džaferović met yesterday with Director General of the European Commission for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson and Executive Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European Foreign External Action (EEAS) Thomas Mayr-Harting and informed them that an integral version of answers to additional questions from the Questionnaire of the European Commission was delivered to governments and the Council of Ministers of BiH.
Answers have been harmonized within the coordination mechanism and are expected to be delivered to Brussels by the end of the month.
They repeated that positive opinion of the European Commission and recommendation for status of a candidate country this year would be an additional motivation for accelerated implementation of reforms.
Christian Danielsson and Thomas Mayr-Harting welcomed commitment of members of the BiH Presidency to work harder on the EU perspective of BiH.
They called BiH institutions to deliver harmonized answers as soon as possible.
They explained that opinion of the Commission will serve as a roadmap for comprehensive reforms that will be implemented, especially in areas of rule of law, fight against corruption and human rights.
In order to get a positive opinion it is very important to accelerate process of formation of government on all levels in BiH, Presidency of BiH stated.
